Rhodia in Germany
Rhodia was first established in Germany in 1927, with an acetate-based yarns and fibers production facility in Freiburg, followed in 1955 by the manufacture of cellulose acetate tow.
Today, the Freiburg site is also home to technological development centers for Rhodia Polyamide (engineering plastics) and Rhodia Acetow (cellulose acetate tow), as well as a polymerization unit for polyamide 6.6 chips.
